-What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far?-

“My greatest accomplishment was earning my Masters Degree last year. I am the first in my family to do so.”

-How long have you been performing and where have you performed before?-

“I have been performing for over 10 years. I have performed at: The Orpheum Theater, the Schubert Theater, The Strand Theater, various nightclubs in Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, Crash Mansion in New York.”

Nia Vee

Hometown: Hyde Park, MA

-What is the most fun thing you have ever done?-

“I went to Ecuador almost two years ago, and spent one week in poverty with the poor families and children in Duran. It might not sound like fun, but it was the most rewarding experience I have lived as of yet.”

-What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far?-

“Having written 63 songs. Not all of them are great, but most are pretty darn good.”

-How would you describe yourself to someone who does not know you?-

“I am a hard working, soft-spoken, and kind person.”

-Who would you say has inspired you the most?-

“Musically, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix. But I would have to say my family inspires me the most.”

Brad Durkin

Hometown: Andover, MA

-How long have you been performing, and where have you performed?-

“I’ve been playing the guitar for six years, and I perform at local bars and pizza shops around Amherst. I recently played in the Stars Over Boston show, and look forward to moving to New York City after I graduate to perform full time.”

-Who would you say has most inspired you?-

“Howie Day, first and foremost. I connect with his lyrics and performance.”

-How did you get interested in  music in the first place?-

“My father sparked my interested in music. As a child he would put on various albums of Motown artists, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and more. It was then that music became my passion.”

-What would you like to be doing five years from now?-

“Writing music for a well known artists and singing nationally at large and small venues.”
