“I enjoy listening to anything that has something real behind it. If you are passionate about your music I would love to hear it. I love seeing independent local bands and musicians.”

“Hanging with my sweet lady, Isis, playing music, laughing with my pals.”

“I enjoy gospel music and rythym and blues, due to the soulfulness and the power and a feeling that makes you want to move.”

” My influences were Stephanie Mills, Jennifer Holiday, Whitney Houston and Chaka Kahn, Rod Stewart and Blondie.”

“I come from a musical family.  My family was brought up in the church and have always loved to sing.”

“I’ve been performing professionally for about 15 years.”

“I heard the song “Two Step” by the Dave Matthews Band and it blew me away,  for my next Birthday my Mother Lynne Whitten bought me an acoustic guitar.”

-What kind(s) of music do you enjoy best? Any favorite performers or favorite songs?-

“Soundgarden, Norah Jones, Alice in Chains, Sublime, Chris Cornell, Blind Melon, Audioslave, the Lucas Cates Band, Tool, Phoenix, Kings of Leon.  The Lucas Cates band is a personal favorite because, well, if you ever see them play LIVE you’ll become a fan as well.  Norah Jones because when I was serving in Iraq the ONLY way I could fall asleep was to put on her second album.”
