Episode #13 – George Kaye

George Kaye

Boston, MA
Singing: You Give Love a Bad Name – Bon Jovi

How long have you been performing?

“Over twenty-one years at charity concerts.  I also performed in church choir when I was a teenager and in Lakeville’s Middle and High School choirs.”

What kind(s) of music do you enjoy best?

“I enjoy a wide selection of music from power pop, to rock, country and gospel.”

Who would you say has most inspired you?

“Elvis Presley inspired me to produce and perform at charity concerts, as he did.”

What is the most fun thing you have ever done?

“Performing at Elvis Presley’s Graceland multiple times.”

How would you describe yourself to someone who does not know you?

“Outgoing person who tries to make people smile and be happy.”

How do you feel about being on the show?

“It’s a grand institution.  I’ve been watching since I was a child.  I wanted to be on 37 years ago but had no way to rehearse songs.  When I was 13 years old, I stayed in the parking lot during CA auditions.  The CA staff tried to get me to audition as well as TV 6 news anchors.  Finally I am fulfilling my goal of being on Community Auditions.”

I am very excited to be able to meet many talented individuals and to get the experience of being on such a credible show!
