“Singing National Anthem for Boston Celtics game, on my birthday.”

“Donny Hathaway, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder and George Benson because of their melodic sound/style.”

How would you describe yourself to someone who does not know you?
“Friendly, outgoing, musical, athletic/active.”

How do you like to spend your free time? Do you have hobbies?
“Listening to music, playing basketball, working out at the gym, travelling, all with family.”

What differentiates you from other musicians?
“I sing from the heart, perform because I love entertaining people.”

“One night while performing I noticed an older couple really enjoying the song I was singing, it seemed as though it took them back in time to some great memories. As I watched them get on the dance floor and really get into it, I realized that this was what I most loved to do (inspiring people to have fun) and why I want to continue along this career path.”

“I like many genres and artists. Anything from the Beatles to Cold Play to Miles Davis. I love Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, John Mayor. This could be a very long list.”

What would you like to be doing five years from now?
“Performing all the time and traveling/ touring the world.”

How do you spend your free time? Do you have hobbies?
“I like to play music, write music and listen to music. I love taking walks, reading books, doing yoga and other athletic adventurous things.”

How would you describe your musical style?
“Folk, Pop, Classical, Jazz, Country.”

“When I was about seven, I heard the Beatles for the first time. It was love at first listen. I’ll never forget that moment. That’s when I knew how much I love and need music.”

“I am hardworking and am completely dedicated to music.”

What kind(s) of music do you enjoy best?  Any favorite performers or favorite songs? And why do you like them?
“I listen to so many different genres of music.  I switch it up from Rhianna to Cold Play, Adele and Katy Perry, and even enjoy listening to classical music and international selections.  Depending on the day and my mood, I love to find new things to listen to.  As far as performance goes, I have been really impressed with Gwen Stefani and Michael Buble in concert.”

What is the most fun thing you have ever done?
“Interview people on the red carpet at “Dancing with the New Bedford Stars.”

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far?
“Becoming a mother to each of my daughters were the highlights of my life. Nothing can come close to bringing another human being into the world. Of course, that was all just the beginning of what being a mom entails. My family is the most important thing to me. I take my responsibilities seriously and am so proud of who my daughters are as people. It is definitely a full time job, and the most important and rewarding job I will ever have.”

How would you describe yourself to someone who does not know you?
“Happy and addicted to fashion!”

Tell us how you feel about being on the show
“I’m SO EXCITED! The part of having it air on television kind of makes me a little nervous, but I’m gong to try to not think about that while I perform. I am also hoping that I choose a song that people enjoy.”

Why do you deserve to be the next ‘Star of the Day?’
“I really want one of those cool trophies that the winner receives. I’ve been waiting so long to “do something” with my voice, and I am hoping this is it.”

“My Mom bought me small acoustic guitar for xmas when I was 12. I Loved it ever since…”

“I love Carlos Santana but truly enjoy all kinds of music. The Classic rock stuff would be my favorite.”

How do you like to spend your free time?
“Do you have hobbies? Sing and coach my son’s baseball team.”

Why do you deserve to be the next ‘Star of the Day?’
Music is truly the heart of my world and I love to share it with everyone.

“I love the show,stage there and look forward to playing with such great musicians.”

“I just remember when my mom was sick and dying back in 1993, She always told me to “keep your music close to your heart.” I guess that just stuck in my head and I think of her often when I sing.”

Who would you say has most inspired you?
“My Mom and Dad. They have always let me be who I wanted to be, even when I was little. They never tried to push me into a mold of what kind of person they thought I should be, they kind of just let me, BE. And that’s rad of them.”

What is the most fun thing you have ever done?
“Performing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” during the World Karaoke Championship Nationals IN MY UNDERWEAR IN FRONT OF ABC TV CAMERAS!”

How would you describe yourself to someone who does not know you?
“I’m extremely blunt, but once you get past that, I’m super fun, caring, and love to have a great time when applicable LOL.”

How do you like to spend your free time? Do you have hobbies?
“I make tiny hats, sing in a band :Element119, act in independent films, karaoke, and shop till I drop.”

What do you like best about your home town — the town you are representing?
“It’s a diverse city. I have a lot of friends here in Brockton. Plus it’s home to my favorite karaoke bar: Harry’s Westgate Pub!”

“I was singing Evanescence’s Bring me to life at the Karaoke Bar when my now boyfriend walked in. I didn’t know this at the time, but apparently he was staring at me the whole night and he turned to his friends_and said “i’m gonna marry that girl” before he even talked to me! LOL We’ve been together for six years now.”
