Gail Huff

Gail Huff has been a general assignment news reporter for WCVB-TV Channel 5 since August 1993. She currently works as NewsCenter 5’s EyeOpener reporter.

Huff’s broadcast journalism career began in Greenville, N.C., in 1984 at WNCT-TV. In 1986, she joined WLNE-TV in Providence, R.I. Then worked for WFSB-TV in Hartford, Conn., in 1989. All three stations were CBS affiliates.

She hosted a half-hour parenting series with child psychologist, Dr. Penelope Leach called “Your Baby & Child” on Lifetime Television. A graduate of Waltham High School, Huff received her B.S. in Business Communications from Bentley College and attended Emerson College’s graduate program in Broadcast Journalism. Huff donates considerable time to non-profit organizations including the March of Dimes, Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts, Kennedy Donovan Center and Horace Mann Educational Associates. She has been recognized with numerous awards for her work with area charities. She is married to State Sen. Scott Brown and has two daughters, Ayla, and Arianna.
